Zafrir is a popular multi-instrumentalist and electronic music producer, who started his musical journey in elementary school, during which he learned to play various instruments including piano, guitar, etc. At home, he listened to both popular music and music from around the world, as well as being interested in traditional ethnic music, resulting in his researching many styles and learning to play authentic instruments from different cultures: Greek bouzouki, Celtic harp, Persian tar, Turkish oud, santur, and Much more. Zafrir’s interest in discovering new worlds of music is admirable as he focuses on music from Morocco, Africa, Kurdistan, Yemen and more. In 2018, Armin van Buuren of Zafrir entered the international electronic scene with the track “United” with Alok and Vinny VC.
